ASTM/JIS SS Round Bars Duplex Stainless Steel 2205 2101 2507 2707 Black Bar
Some common applications of steel round bar include frameworks, supports, braces, shafts, and axles. Stainless steel round bars are highly corrosion resistant.
The stainless steel will tolerate high levels of acidity and can be used in chlorine bearing environments or alkaline solutions.
Round bar, flat bar, sheet and plate can be bent using a press brake, bending machine or ring-rolling.
Due to work hardening, bending should be done quickly.
Some over-bending will be required to counteract spring-back of the bend.
